The foyer at the Anstey Road entrance to Reading Central has undergone a facelift. Gone are all the old fittings and they have given way to modern clean lines. The dark wooden fittings in the old foyer have been replaced by light oak tables and book cases.
A striking feature of the foyer is The Salvation Army crest carved in wood. This feature has been purchased in memory of Ned Denyer, a life-long Salvationist who was recently "promoted to glory".
